What we do...

My wife Marge and I devoted 2010 to visiting our National Parks with the goal of capturing landscape images on a scale of size and to a degree of detail that has never been done before. In 2011, we followed that up with our first visit to Rocky Mountain National Park and a return to The Badlands while also working to prepare a gallery show. This past summer, we spent time in The Loess Hills, beginning a project that we anticipate will extend into 2013 and beyond.

Our show, National Parks West, has recently wrapped up a showing at its third venue, the Pearson Lakes Art Center in Okoboji, Iowa. While we figure out the show's next stop, 4 of the pieces are currently featured among 2013's top Share the View selections as chosen by the Audubon Society of Greater Denver. You can take a look right here.

All the images you will find on this site have been prepared for making high-quality prints. So far, I've got each one ready to go in three sizes, and since I'm doing all the printing myself, you can be assured that any prints purchased will not only meet with exceedingly high standards, but will also arrive hand-signed.

If you'd like to keep up-to-date with our plans or join in the conversation, we welcome you to visit us on our Nature's Image fan page on Facebook.

A bit about the images (& this site)

This website has been specially designed to show the landscapes in as large a scale as possible for your respective computer screen. This is because the smaller of the prints, when printed at "normal" size, measure about

two feet high by three feet wide. The larger ones can reach more than two feet high by six to eight (or even more) feet in length. And while any photographer's film or digital image could be printed large-scale, the quality of small digital or film files printed large will quickly become grainy or pixelated. By comparison, the National Park images you can find on this site will print to 30 inches in height without a discernible reduction in quality. (And I stand behind that with my 30-day money-back guarantee.)

While this website is an attempt to show them large, the resolution and size of a computer monitor, even a large one, cannot demonstrate what these images capture. If you're curious, we encourage you to visit the Magnification Gallery where we've tried to convey just a little bit of a sense of what this is about.

Also, we welcome you to stop in and sign the Gallery Guestbook while you're here. Thanks for visiting! Enjoy...
