Walking The Land

In 1851, Henry David Thoreau wrote the book "Walking", urging humans to leave their homes and walk beyond their city limits to experience the natural world. For more than a decade I have followed Thoreau's advice, walking out of doors and recording what I see. These days I walk as a volunteer at Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge in Sherburne County, MN.
