Images From the Natural World

In 1851, Henry David Thoreau wrote the book "Walking", urging humans to leave their homes and walk beyond their city limits to experience the natural world. For more than a decade we have followed Thoreau's advice, walking out of doors and recording what we see. These days we walk as volunteers at Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge in Sherburne County, MN.
